Sky Sports on BT Vision
Sky Sports is the number one TV sports package in the UK and is available not just from Sky directly but also from rival TV suppliers such as BT as part of the BT Vision TV service.
BT Vision customers can take Sky Sports 1 or 2 or both together – not the full 1, 2, 3 and 4 offered by Sky Digital and Virgin Media – and these can be added to one of the TV, Broadband and Calls bundles for new customers or taken by existing BT Broadband customers when they add BT Vision. There is a one-off fee of £10 for the viewing card which slots into your BT Vision+ Box and enables you to watch the two channels via Freeview. This means that availability of the Sky Sports channels depends on the Freeview reception where you live – use the ‘Check Freeview Coverage’ button on this page here. The Sky Sports channels are taken on a one month minimum term so you don’t need to commit to a lengthy contract.
BT Packages with Sky Sports
There are 2 options available for TV on BT Vision – TV Essential and TV Unlimited – and each of these can be added by an existing BT Broadband customer or taken as part of a triple bundle. Sky Sports can be added to any of these bundles on a one month rolling basis – £18.20 for Sky Sports 1 and 2 together or £12.90 each per month.
TV Essential
Great for viewers who want the regular Freeview channels with a PVR to pause, rewind and record live TV and occasional on demand content on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Line rental at full price is £14.60 a month but can be paid 12 months in advance for £129.
Existing BT Broadband customers who add BT Vision to their package pay more if they want to add Sky Sports 1 and 2 – £12.90 a month for Sky Sports 1 or 2 and £18.20 for both. However an existing broadband customer can take one of the triple bundles above, renewing their broadband contract and effectively becoming a new customer – in this case the price for Sky Sports will be the same.
ESPN on BT Vision
ESPN features live Barclays Premier League, UEFA Europa League and 23 live and exclusive e.on FA Cup games. ESPN also shows 43 live Aviva Premiership matches, NHL, & MLB and is the only channel to show live UFC. To add ESPN to TV Unlimited you just pay the one-off £10 fee for the viewing card and there is no monthly cost. Customers who take Sky Sports use the same viewing card bought for Sky Sports to receive ESPN on Freeview channel 34.
Vision Sport
Vision Sport is BT’s on-demand library of sport footage including TNA Wrestling, Moto GP, weekly sports shows and a huge archive of classic sport including Wimbledon, Open golf, Test cricket, boxing and more. There are weekly shows rounding up the best in motorsport, rugby, boxing and cricket and all of this is available on demand as you want to watch it. If your package includes Vision Sport – if you’ve selected it as part of the Bronze Pack or if you have the Gold Pack with all six included – you can watch as much as you like, alternatively you can pay as you go for content on the TV, Broadband and Calls package.
